Fairview Town Hall will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, and the following day, Nov. 29, as our employees celebrate the holiday with their families. Town Hall will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2.
The portion of Murray Farm Drive between Bluebird Lane and Butterfly Way is closed to allow crews work to repair a water line under the street. The street is anticipated to reopen November 27. Residents of that section of Murray Farm Drive will use alleyways to access their homes.
At the request of residents and others, the Town of Fairview has established a Zoning Defense Fund to allow those who wish to make a donation toward legal costs and related expenses incurred by the Town and its attorneys as they defend the Town’s zoning ordinances. The Town of Fairview ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 7.59 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $-1.40.

At Noon on the first Wednesday of every month there is an audible test of the outdoor warning sirens.
Tests will not be performed during severe weather events. If Fairview is experiencing severe weather on a scheduled siren testing date, please assume the siren is weather-related and seek shelter immediately.
